D'Lynn, a Black woman with curly hair, wearing sunglasses, is beaming with joy at being surrounded by Black Bamboo!

About D’Lynn

D’Lynn “LMNOP” Jacobs, daughter of Malinda  M. Malone Jacobs,  is a queer transformative coach, Black Birder, and Executive Director of Open Horizon, a small relationship-based family foundation. In her astrology, she is a triple Gemini and she is all about the ephemeral, flexible, gracious and magical qualities of air.

When she was a child, she gave herself “all the letters” as a middle name – claiming the bigness of who she was in the world with the magical playfulness that she exudes. Now, as a coach, she brings that same spirit of a fearless child, inviting her coaching partners to play and claim themselves.

As a birder, she can recognize all the birds that visit her home in Durango, Colorado.

She holds a Transformative Futures Coaching Certification from Coaching for Healing, Justice, and Liberation (CHJL) and Conductors Healing Centered Certification through Blooming Willow (ICF), a Black woman-owned coach-training business.  Being in community with other coaches through CHJL allows D’Lynn to stay current in her practice and continue her own transformation.

D’Lynn is a facilitator and a Lego Serious Play practitioner. She has worked with government and non-profit organizations, and boards, centering play, giving permission to participants to be creative, and rooting in her justice-centered values.

A Lego tree house, easily hundred if not thousands of pieces, with multiple houses in a giant lego tree is displayed on a glass side table.
